The Vehicle That Saves Lives

More often than not, we hear these vehicles bustling through the streets during emergencies. These real-life rescuers are the ambulances or the patient transport ambulances. An ambulance is a vehicle for pre-hospital treatment and the transportation of sick or injured people; at times, it also brings back the patient to his or her home. Inside the ambulance, medical attention and care are given to the patient to prepare him for more intensive medical care once he gets to hospital. Ambulances can be based on many types of vehicles; they can be a van or pick up, sport utility vehicle, all terrain vehicle, bus, boat and helicopter.
